Barry Donohue specializes in construction law, architects and engineers professional liability, surety law and related litigation. A trial attorney with more than 30 years experience, Barry represents general contractors and construction managers, specialty trade contractors, design professionals, and project owners in both the public and private sectors. He regularly appears in the New Jersey Superior Court, the United States District Court for New Jersey, and in numerous proceedings conducted through the auspices of the American Arbitration Association.
Barry is a charter member and Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers, the most prestigious association of practitioners in the field. More recently, Barry was named to the Large Complex Case Panel of the American Arbitration Association. He is also a member and former chairman of the Attorneys Council of the American Subcontractors Association. He has presented numerous seminars dealing with various subjects in the general area of construction law. He has been honored twice, in 1982 and 1994, as the recipient of the "Man of the Year Award" given by the American Subcontractors Association of New Jersey for his legislative efforts in the New Jersey construction industry.
