Frederick W. (Bud) Rose concentrates his practice in trust & estate law and litigation.
In addition to numerous cases in New Jersey, Mr. Rose has served as trial counsel in matters in the state or federal courts in Albany, Atlanta, Birmingham, Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Rochester, Toledo, Washington D.C. and Dallas among others. In the course of such trial experience, he has represented such entities as Boeing/McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Nissan North America, Inc., Nissan Ltd., Owens Illinois, Inc., Cornell University, Congoleum Industries, Peugeot Motors of America, Inc., BP North America, Inc., Reichhold Chemicals and The Clorox Company.
He is a former President of The Cornell Law School Alumni and has served on its Advisory Committee for many years; he is also a former Trustee of Rutgers University and Blair Academy.
Mr. Rose has been a Moderator and Lecturer for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education in programs relating to the assessment of damages in commercial litigation. As a contributor to New Jersey Lawyer, the Magazine, he was a co-author of "Using and Opposing Expert Witnesses at Trial."
He has served as general counsel for a publicly-traded company, presently serves as a member of the board of directors of a group of newspapers and is the President of the Rumson Business Association. He is the recipient of an award from the New Jersey Press Association for his litigation work in defense of the First Amendment and the Shield Law for reporters.
