Greg Vitali is a member of the firm, and concentrates his practice in litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of construction law. As a trial attorney, Greg represents owners, contractors, specialty trade subcontractors, construction managers, suppliers, design professionals and others involved in the construction trades in both the public and private sector. He regularly appears in the New Jersey Superior Court, the United States District Court for New Jersey, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings conducted under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association.
Greg has extensive experience in all phases of construction litigation, including drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, the filing and foreclosure of construction liens, and the enforcement of contractors’ rights under New Jersey’s Prompt Pay legislation. He also has extensive experience in public contracts law, particularly in representing clients in bid disputes and protests, as well as in the filing and perfection of contractors’ and suppliers’ rights under New Jersey’s Municipal Mechanics’ Lien Law and New Jersey’s Bond Act.
Greg has served as Counsel to American Subcontractors Association of New Jersey since 2000, and regularly lecturers before contractors and suppliers regarding issues relevant to the construction industry. He is also an active participant in the National Attorney Council for the American Subcontractors Association.
In addition to construction law, Greg’s practice includes the representation of corporate client’s in general commercial litigation. Greg regularly appears in State and Federal Court to litigate commercial contract disputes on behalf of many of the Firm’s corporate clients.
