jmerlino@lindabury.com Since joining the firm in 1998, Jeff Merlino has concentrated his practice on litigation and education law. In litigation, he frequently represents management in employment disputes, including discrimination, breach of contract and wrongful termination. He also regularly handles matters in insurance defense, personal injury and matrimonial law. He has tried cases in New Jersey Superior Court and argued cases before the Third Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals, and the New Jersey Appellate Division of the Superior Court. Jeff is also a member of the firm’s Education Law Group. He has represented several New Jersey public school boards in labor disputes and has appeared before the Office of Administrative Law and Public Employment Relations Commission on their behalf. Jeff is a former Law Clerk to the Honorable Edmond M. Kirby, J.S.C. and a Certified Mediator with the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts.
