John W. Cooper concentrates his practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration and estate and trust litigation.
He has served for over ten (10) years as Chairman of the Probate Early Settlement Program of the Superior Court in Union County and is the former Chairman of the District XII Fee Arbitration Program of the New Jersey Supreme Court. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has often been a lecturer for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Jack serves as President of the Summit Area Public Foundation, is a Board Member of SAGE Eldercare, is a member of the Long Range Planning Committee of the Overlook Hospital Foundation, is a member and past President of the Northern New Jersey Estate Planning Council, is a past President of the Summit Area United Way, The Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, the Summit Family Service Association, and is a past board member of the Summit Speech School and served as Vice Chair of Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child.
