Monica Perez concentrates her practice in the area of environmental law. As an environmental associate at her previous firm, she primarily worked on issues relating to Industrial Site Recovery Act ("ISRA") compliance and Underground Storage Tanks. Also, she handled matters relating to the Coastal Area Facility Review Act ("CAFRA") and the Wetlands Act. At Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., Monica has counseled clients on diverse issues such as site remediation, solid waste and air compliance matters. Prior to her practicing law, Monica interned for the Environmental Protection Agency in Region II, concentrating on Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act ("CERCLA") issues. In law school, she was a research assistant for an environmental law professor and researched issues relating to environmental toxic tort litigation, a survey of environmental regulatory schemes and environmental issues in business transactions.
