Stacey Boretz joined the commercial litigation team at Lindabury in 2004. She is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in New York and New Jersey courts. At Lindabury she researches and drafts pretrial and trial motions, orders to show cause, memoranda of law and appellate briefs. She also takes and defends depositions and appears in New York and New Jersey State Courts for motions, pretrial conferences and arbitrations.
Prior to joining Lindabury, Stacey performed per diem work for various attorneys in Union and Essex Counties and worked for the law firm of Mortenson and Pomeroy in Springfield, New Jersey. She also worked for several years as an associate at Reid and Priest in New York.
Earlier in her career, Stacey spent several years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the Bronx District Attorney, Appeals Bureau, where she also served as a Supervising Attorney responsible for Extraditions and Renditions. She later served as the Principal Court Attorney for Acting New York Supreme Court Justice Patricia A. Williams.
