Anthony J. LaRusso
Since joining the firm in 1970, Anthony J. LaRusso has devoted most of his practice to civil litigation and business matters.
His litigation experience includes the representation of individuals, professionals and business in legal actions concerning contracts, commercial and residential real estate including title and liens, mortgage foreclosures, unfair competition, business owners and members disputes, family law and divorce, professional negligence, personal injury and workers’ compensation, asbestos claims and insurance coverage, and attorney ethics.
His litigation experience also includes service as a commissioner in condemnation actions, the legal representation of children, pro bono, in Division of Youth and Family Services actions, and the legal representation of incapacitated persons in guardianship actions, all by appointment of the New Jersey Superior Court.
Anthony served on the District XII Ethics Committee (for Union County) from September 2004 to September 2008 by appointment of the New Jersey Supreme Court. He served as Vice Chair during his third year and Chair during his last year of service. He has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
His business experience includes the representation of parties in the formation and organization of business entities and in connection with various business, commercial, real estate, mortgage, financing, buy-outs and buy-sell transactions.
Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, 1982 - 2013.
