Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper P.C., welcomes Nicole Maguire to the firm. Maguire is a graduate of Pace University School of Law, where she was a member of Pace’s Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Society and finished in the top 20 percent of participants in The Louis V. Fasulo First Year Moot Court Competition. She received her bachelor of arts at Lafayette College with a degree in Economics and Business and English Literature.

Before joining Lindabury Nicole was a Judicial Law Clerk with the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County, Family Division. Nicole also served as a summer associate with the firm in 2016.

Westfield, New Jersey, August 2, 2018 – Westfield attorney Greg K. Vitali, of the law firm Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., has been selected as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (“CLSA”). Mr. Vitali is a partner in the firm’s construction litigation group with an emphasis in the areas of commercial and construction law. A 1994 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, Mr. Vitali received his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1997. Mr. Vitali regularly appears in the New Jersey Superior Court, the United States District Court for New Jersey, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings conducted under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association to litigate commercial contract disputes on behalf of many of the firm’s corporate clients.

The CLSA is an invitation-only international honorary association composed of preeminent lawyers specializing in construction law and related fields. Fellowship is limited and selective, with lawyers being invited into Fellowship upon a proven record of excellence and accomplishment in construction law at both the trial and appellate levels. Lawyers nominated or selected may be in any discipline in the construction law arena, including contract specialization, negotiations, litigation, arbitration, appellate and/or surety law, but who have in addition superior ethical reputations. Stephen, a 1982 graduate of Seton Haw University School of Law, advises clients regarding entity formation and restructuring: financing, technology licensing, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and regulatory issues. In health care and life sciences fields, Stephen represents clients concerning Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and privacy; including HIPAA; fraud and abuse and legal and ethical issues associated with religiously-based health care services.

Westfield, NJ, (June 18, 2018): Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., announced that Robert W. Anderson has been elected president of The Parlex Group, an international network of law firms that work cooperatively to handle cross-border legal transactions.

Mr. Anderson is the first non-European to serve as president in the 47-year history of The Parlex Group. He will also serve as a member of the Management Committee for a two-year term.

“In our increasingly interconnected world, legal transactions now regularly involve multiple countries and legal systems,” said Mr. Anderson. “I am greatly honored by the opportunity to serve as Parlex’s president while we work to seamlessly meet the challenges of global transactions.”

Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper in Westfield welcomes two summer associates into its ranks. David Franzmathes and Donald C. Pierce will be joining the firm for 10 weeks. They began on May 29th. Franzmathes is a third-year law student at Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark. David is an Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts at The College of New Jersey in Philosophy. He also has internship experience as a Judicial Intern in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. Donald C. Pierce is a third-year law student at Rutgers Law School, Newark. Donald is on the Moot Court Board and was a participant in the 2018 Nathan Baker Mock Trial Competition. Donald received his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in Economics. Prior to attending law school he served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina as an Infantry Officer, 1st Lieutenant. “Lindabury is pleased to welcome David and Donald as its current class of summer associates. Nicole Kobis of Lindabury Named 2018 Rising Star

Nicole A. Kobis, a family law attorney with Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., will be honored as a Rising Star Recipient at the United Way of Greater Union County’s Annual Celebration on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. The event will be held at the Gran Centurions (440 Madison Hill Road, Clark, NJ) from 6-9 pm.

The Annual Celebration recognizes local leaders in philanthropy, business, and advocacy who share United Way’s mission of service. United Way of Greater Union County (UWGUC) created the event as a way to recognize community and business leaders who are committed to making communities stronger and improving the odds for children and families. Proceeds will benefit programs and services funded by UWGUC.
