Nicole Maguire is a member of Lindabury’s Corporate and Litigation groups. She advises entrepreneurs on corporate formation, licensing and distribution agreements, regulations surrounding product packaging and reviews commercial lease agreements. Nicole is a member of the firm’s Food, Beverage & Agribusiness industry team and works with restaurants, food distributors, craft brewers and distillers and those within New Jersey’s cannabis industry. As part of the firm's construction group Nicole represents contractors/subcontractors to resolve disputes. She joined the firm in 2018 and was a summer associate beginning in 2016.
Nicole earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Pace University School of Law, White Plains, NY, where she was on the Real Estate Legal Case Study Project and was an active member of the Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Society. Before joining Lindabury, Nicole was a Judicial Law Clerk with the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County, Family Division. During her clerkship Nicole drafted bench memoranda, opinions, and judicial orders. Nicole also coordinated mediation sessions and settlement conferences between adverse parties in the Union County Special Civil Part.
Throughout her early professional career, and as a student at Pace Law School, Nicole had the opportunity to engage in a broad range of legal practice areas. For instance, during her employment with HEINEKEN USA, she reviewed and drafted lease sponsorship and various other agreements under the direction of the in-house legal department.
Nicole currently sits on the Board of Directors of Bloom Again Foundation in addition to being an active member of Lindabury’s Women’s Business Initiative program.
