Vito A. Pinto
Vito ("Tony") Pinto counsels a diverse array of clients with respect to real estate and compliance issues and litigates real estate and other matters in state and federal courts.
Tony Pinto is a Chair of the Firm's Real Estate Transactions Group and serves on the firm's Executive Committee. He counsels clients with respect to real estate and environmental issues. Mr. Pinto’s real estate practice includes the acquisition, development and disposition of commercial real estate, commercial leasing transactions, joint ventures and general business counseling with respect to real estate matters.
He also advises companies of all sizes with respect to regulatory and compliance matters. He counsels the manufacturing and chemical industries with respect to federal and state environmental laws, OSHA, solid waste regulation and licensing, permitting, environmental remediation, construction projects and EHS issues. He has extensive negotiation experience with numerous state and federal agencies with whom he has successfully defended and negotiated numerous complex orders and enforcement agreements. He also coordinates the review of due diligence investigations in connection with the acquisition of ongoing businesses.
Mr. Pinto routinely litigates a wide variety of matters before both state and federal courts including breach of contract issues, construction and bid disputes, condemnation and other real estate based matters, including matters related to condominium construction and transition of control issues.
Mr. Pinto regularly speaks on the topics of regulatory compliance issues including the environmental aspects of real estate development, OSHA compliance, white collar criminal defense and issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Franklin and Marshall College and a JD Degree with Honors from The George Washington National Law Center. Prior to entering into private practice, Mr. Pinto was Law Secretary to James J. Petrella, Presiding Judge of the New Jersey Appellate Division.
