David Hardin concentrates his practice in the areas of wills, trusts and estates, corporate law and real estate law. His professional practice focuses on advising individual and corporate clients with respect to estate and gift tax planning and estate administration, acquisitions and sales of real estate, and the formation and operation of business enterprises.

David is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He served a term as Chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Prior to holding that position, he served as a Section Vice Chair for two years. As a Past Chair, David is a member of the Section’s Board of Consultors.

David served for several years as editor of the volumes of the New Jersey Practice Series on "Wills and Administration." He has published numerous professional articles, including "Treatment of Non-Probate Property in the Estate Planning Process" which appeared in New Jersey Lawyer Magazine and "Considerations and Cautions in the Appointment of the Attorney-Scrivener as Executor" in the New Jersey Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section Newsletter.

David is a regular lecturer to professional groups. Representative topics have included "The 2004 Revisions to the New Jersey Probate Code" and "Handling Complex Issues in Estate Administration" at seminars sponsored by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and "Recent Cases Affecting Trusts and Estates Practitioners and the Representation of Fiduciaries" and "The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001" at workshops sponsored by the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

He currently serves as a panel member in the Superior Court of New Jersey's Probate Early Settlement Program for Union County, and was involved on the State Bar Association Committee acting to review and modernize New Jersey laws involving probate and trust law, including the 2004 revisions to the New Jersey Probate Code.

Upon graduation from law school, David served as law secretary to the Honorable Reginald Stanton, J.S.C., then a judge of the Superior Court, Chancery Division, General Equity Part, sitting in Morristown, New Jersey.
