
Jane Simpson
Jane Simpson has been practicing family law for 30 years. She focuses on resolving complex family matters efficiently and cost-effectively. A certified mediator and parent coordinator, she helps families navigate disputes without prolonged litigation.
Jane is a panelist for the Family Law Early Settlement Programs in Morris, Somerset, Essex, and Union counties. She is a member of the Barry I. Croland Inn of Court, the first teaching Inn of Court in the United States and has served on the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also an active member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and the Morris County Bar Association, where she co-chaired the Family Law Section and previously served on the Executive Committee.
Jane’s peers and former clients recognize her problem-solving skills. She receives referrals from opposing attorneys, therapists, and professionals who trust her ability to reach fair resolutions. Clients appreciate her practical approach, clear communication, and focus on minimizing conflict. In her practice Jane provides straightforward advice, and helps clients make informed decisions. When settlement is not possible, she is a strong advocate in court, ensuring her clients’ rights and interests are protected.
She has lectured on family law topics and moderated professional seminars. She also provided pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence through organizations such as JBWS and Partners for Women and Justice.
