Human Resources Director
Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper has an opening for a Human Resources (HR) Director in its Westfield office. This is a full-time on-site position. Remote work may be permitted one day a week.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent (five to ten years work experience) in Human Resources Administration with progressively more responsible work experience for a company with 80 or more employees. Law Firm experience preferred. You must be flexible, team-oriented and have a proven ability to listen, speak and write effectively. You must possess a strong work ethic and a leadership presence with an approachable style.
What’s this position about? The HR Director hires, provides supervision of receptionists, secretaries, paralegals, and other clerical staff. The HR Director is responsible for running bi-weekly and special payrolls (projected payrolls) using ADP WorkForce Now. The HR Director manages all employee benefits, COBRA Administration, FMLA, short/long-term disability, third party sick pay, unemployment claims, employee relations issues, annual reviews, open enrollment, compensation, recruitment, employee grievances, new hire orientation and ACA (Affordable Care Act) Administration.

Commercial Real Estate Partner
Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper seeks a partner-level commercial real estate attorney. The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight years' significant experience with respect to the development, purchase, sale, leasing, and financing of commercial and industrial real estate in the New York metropolitan area. Admission to the New Jersey bar and either current admission or commitment for admission to the New York bar are required along with excellent writing, analytical and interpersonal skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to participate in the succession planning of a distinguished law firm and its roster of high-profile clientele in the commercial real estate and financing sectors throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Employee Benefits - ERISA Attorney
Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper has an opening for an employee benefits attorney for its employer-based labor law and employee benefits practice group. We invite experienced attorneys as well as matriculating law school students, with an interest in or experience with ERISA and employee benefits law, to submit their credentials for consideration to join our national practice advising employer trade associations and Taft-Hartley collectively bargained multiemployer benefit plans. Litigation Associate Attorney
Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper seeks a commercial litigation associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join our Litigation Group. Experience servicing clients in the construction industry is a plus. New Jersey and New York bar admissions are required along with excellent writing, analytical and interpersonal skills. This position offers direct client contact and responsibility for managing the preparation of pleadings, notices, subpoenas, discovery requests, and appropriate research, and support at depositions, motions, and trials.

Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper seeks a full-time Matrimonial Paralegal in its Westfield, NJ office. The candidate must have a minimum of three years of matrimonial / family law experience. They must be a self-starter with full knowledge of family law litigation, motion practice, discovery / CIS procedures, and comfortable interacting with clients. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Salary commensurate with experience. Knowledge of law firm attorney billing systems and entering attorney time is a plus.
