John D. Naphor

John is an associate in the Litigation group where he focuses his practice on defense litigation.

Before joining Lindabury, John was an associate with an international law firm providing dispute resolution and advisory services. Upon graduating law school John served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department where he defended the City of New York and its client agencies in complex high-exposure tort claims including labor and employment law, products liability, premises and municipal liability. John has extensive experience defending claims arising from assaults, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and negligent supervision. John also regularly assessed and identified liability and litigation strategies at the onset of litigation on behalf of the city and its agencies in this role.

From favorable settlements and verdicts to success on dispositive motion practice, John is intent on obtaining the best possible outcome while keeping in line with his clients’ goals.

John received his law degree from New York Law School and was the Associate Editor of the Moot Court Team and a member of the VIS Commercial Arbitration Moot team.
