Monica Vir has earned a reputation as an accomplished corporate attorney who balances legal compliance with practical business advice. She is Co-Chair of the Corporate and M&A Group and a member of the firm's Real Estate Services Group.
Monica counsels both closely held family businesses and large national and international corporations. She is a trusted advisor whose pragmatic approach to providing legal counsel has earned her a reputation among her clients as being an integral member of their team. In business transactions, Monica represents clients in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, due diligence investigations, reorganizations and restructurings, and debt and equity financings. She has successfully represented both acquirers and targets in complex M&A transactions whose dollar values range between mid-six-figures and tens of millions. While Monica’s practice spans a wide variety of industry sectors she has a particular experience advising on deals involving real estate, healthcare facilities, physician practices, technology companies and nonprofits.
Clients rely on Monica’s experience with and understanding of employment law to help advise on the retention of key executives and employees in order to position the company for success after the deal.
